From October 17, 2025, to March 14, 2026, the Espace Louis Vuitton München presents “Wolfgang Tillmans - Passages Silencieux”, a tribute to the German artist's photographic work through a selection of pieces from the Collection.

Espace Louis Vuitton München presents “Silent Passages”, an exhibition dedicated to Wolfgang Tillmans as part of the Fondation Louis Vuitton's Hors-les-murs programme. A leading figure in contemporary photography, Tillmans — witness to the transition from analog to digital — began experimenting with a photocopier before adopting the camera in the late 1980s. Bringing together thirty-five years of creation — portraits, still lifestyles, and abstractions — the artist personally selected the works from the Collection and conceived their hanging, revealing an experimental body of work where light, matter, and perception become a visual language.
