First exhibition in Belgium & new artist at the gallery On the occasion of the Photo Brussels Festival 2026, our gallery is pleased to announce the addition of Sophie Zénon (b. 1965, France) among our artists. Les replis du temps marks her first exhibition in Belgium. The artist explores how nature preserves traces of wars and human movements through so-called obsidional plant migrations. These plants, carried unintentionally by soldiers or displaced populations, inscribe a subtle memory in the landscape, echoing human migrations. Photographs, archives, artist books, installations, and photograms come together to form a sensitive ensemble where memory, history, and time resonate with one another. Sophie Zénon’s works, organic and poetic, reflect on the fragility and impermanence of life.
