"It stood out for its conceptual, theoretical and artistic proposal, around the reflection on migratory asylum that is part of the history of Mexico, a country where cultural diversity nourishes the views of those who propose breaking walls and borders through artistic dialogues , and which is internationally recognized for opening its doors to refugees who left their places of origin for various political, social or economic reasons, allowing the immigration of entire families of diverse origins".

"We left, we always came back" fits into the theme that the Biennale will have in this edition, which is "Foreigners everywhere".
