Palazzo Reale celebrates the centenary of Carla Cerati's birth with a major retrospective that conveys the rigorous and civic force of her gaze. Photographs, documents, books, archival materials and videos recount her journey through the twentieth century: from her observation of the city of Milan to the project Morire di Classe, from portraits to theatre, and on to her explorations of the body, memory and social change. An exhibition promoted by Municipality of Milan - Department of Culture, produced by Palazzo Reale, Pernice editori and Cluster-A.
