Opening | February 13, 6-8 pm

We are delighted to announce Alexi Tsioris’ solo exhibition Dwell Raw at the gallery, opening February 13. On this occasion, the artist will present a new group of works.

Alexi Tsioris (*1982, Athens, lives and works in Munich) studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich from 2002 to 2008. He was awarded a DAAD fellowship in 2009, spending time in Tokyo, and in 2011, he received the Art Prize of the Bayerische Akademie der Schönen Künste in Munich. In 2019, he was honored with the Bayerischer Kunstförderpreis in Fine Arts (Bavarian Arts Prize, Fine Arts). 

Most recent solo exhibitions include Trans Soleil, Jahn und Jahn & Encounter Gallery, Lisboa, Portugal (2024), Bauen Brauen Sauen, Jahn und Jahn Gallery, Munich, Germany (2023), Mythos Alpha, Livie Gallery, Zurich, Switzerland (2022) and Line Languages, Encounter Contemporary, London, UK (2022). Alexi Tsioris’ work was also included in several group shows at BBK, Galerie der Künstler, Munich, V8 Plattform, Karlsruhe, and Kunstverein Munich, among others.
