With FOOD, Schinkel Pavillon presents a transdisciplinary program that explores the intersection of art, sensory experience, and social engagement, addressing the contemporary discourse on food and food production in the context of today’s global challenges. Through this multi-perspective approach, the participatory project fosters new forms of community building and offers an expansive view of possible futures in food production. Motivated by a longing for collective experiences and the urgent need for inclusive social and political platforms, FOOD creates a space for shared encounters that connect food production, community, and forward-looking perspectives. The audience is actively involved, becoming an integral part of the experience. In this way, Schinkel Pavillon transforms into a site of collectively shared, multisensory engagement.
