Modern Art is pleased to present a group exhibition of works by Kate Mosher Hall, Hanna Hur, and Beaux Mendes. Kate Mosher Hall was born in 1986 in Los Angeles, where she continues to live and work. Solo exhibitions include Blast Beat, Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York (2026); Never Odd or Even, Hannah Hoffman Gallery, Los Angeles (2024); Big View, Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York (2023); The Reminder, curated by Kristy Trinier, Audain Gallery, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada (2023); Offset, Tanya Leighton, Berlin (2021); Without a body, without Bill, Hannah Hoffman Gallery (2021); LOQK, Artist Curated Projects (2019); and Wind Breaker, Phil Gallery (2019), all in Los Angeles. Group exhibitions include Chase a Crooked Shadow: Film Noir as Contemporary Mirror, The Warehouse, Dallas (2026); Coastal Signs, Auckland (2023); Something or Other, Galerie Maria Bernheim, Zurich (2023); The Painter’s New Tools, Nahmad Contemporary, New York (2022); and K as in Knight, Helena Anrather, New York (2021). Her work is held in the permanent collections of Fondation Carmignac, France, Kistefos Museum, Norway, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, and Rollins Museum of Art, Winter Park. Hanna Hur was born in 1985 in Toronto and lives and works in New York. Recent solo exhibitions include Eyes Closed, Antenna Space, Shanghai (2026); Ulrik, New York (with Dorothea Rockburne, 2025); Visitor, Sweetwater, Berlin (2025); 8, Doosan Art Center, Seoul (2024); lost Thing, Dracula’s Revenge, New York (2024), Two Angels, Kristina Kite, Los Angeles (2023); Red Ecstatic, Kristina Kite, Los Angeles (2021); Fortune Baby God’s Eyes, Feuilleton, Los Angeles (2020); and Signal at the Wheel, Hover at the Gate, Bel Ami, Los Angeles (2019). Institutional group exhibitions include Speaking in Tongues, Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2026); Made in L.A. 2025, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2025-26); HEAD FOR THE HILLS!, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2024); Itinéraires Fantômes, Capc Musée d’art contemporain de Bordeaux (2024); Shadow Tracer, Aspen Art Museum (2022); Drawing Down the Moon, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2022); and The Inconstant World, Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2021). Beaux Mendes was born in 1987 in New York and now lives and works in Los Angeles. Recent solo exhibitions include The Manzanita Loop, Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York (2024); Black Forest, Galerie Barbara Weiss, Berlin (2023); Capitol Reef, Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York (2022); and Willow Staging Area, STARS, Los Angeles (2021). Mendes’ work has been included in group exhibitions including Lost Object, Matthew Brown, New York (2026); Made in L.A. 2025, Hammer Museum, Los Angeles (2025-26); Hello, the Roses, Hoffman Donahue, Los Angeles (2025); Uncertain Landscapes, ProjectSD, Barcelona (2025); Pansori: A Soundscape of the 21st Century, 15th Gwangju Biennale (2024); Parks and Recreation, Drei, Cologne (2023); Scouring, Meredith Rosen Gallery, New York (2022); and The Meeting, Palazzo Tamborino Cezzi, Lecce (2021), among others. Mendes’ work is in the permanent collection of Hammer Museum, Los Angeles. In December 2026, Mendes’ solo exhibition will open at Secession, Vienna.
