The exhibition Z głodu i z przejedzenie (Out of Hunger, Out of Surfeit) explores new expressionism and figuration in both their historical and contemporary dimensions. It creates an intergenerational dialogue, revealing the continuity and transformation of artistic attitudes. The figure serves as a vehicle for emotion and meaning, while painting functions as a medium of direct, often brutal, communication. The exhibition presents diverse strategies of representation, from radical, uncompromising expression to metaphorical narratives. Curator: Agata Plater-Zyberk
