Since 1900, The Artists’ Autumn Exhibition (KE) has been an open platform for artists wishing to present their work outside the established art institutions. the democratic tradition of the exhibition is rooted in the principle that anyone can apply to participate and that all works are selected anonymously by a jury. The focus is on the artworks themselves, rather than the artists’ names, backgrounds or networks. This has made KE a space where both emerging voices and established artists can experiment, challenge conventions and exhibit side by side. Over the years, KE has welcomed a wide range of artistic movements and distinctive artistic careers. For some artists, the exhibition has marked a breakthrough; for others, it has offered an opportunity to present their work in a new context. For audiences, KE offers an artistic reflection of our society and time, providing insight into the issues, emotions and reflections that occupy us today. This year’s jury Lina Hashim, Kåre Frang, Mie Mørkeberg and Julie Edel Hardenberg
