For Condo 2025, The Sunday Painter is pleased to announce Georges Binda Celeste Alexandrino Gabriel Ferreira Da Silva's inaugural solo exhibition at the gallery, Letter to my son. Working across film, sculpture, painting, and performance, the Copenhagen-based artist examines themes of family history, trauma, and personal discovery through an autobiographical framework.

Letter to my son features an immersive installation that transforms commonplace, disposable materials such as cardboard and brown packing tape to craft replicas of everyday domestic objects to investigate intergenerational inheritance, both material and psychological. The work centers on a letter and personal effects left by the artist's father, serving as a poignant catalyst for exploring the transmission of emotional legacies between generations. Through material and conceptual excavation, the artist examines both personal and inherited experience, investigating how psychological patterns transmit across generations.
