About the work Ojalá se derrumben las puertas, composed of four walkable modules of curved wood, Lamothe explained: "I am carrying a very large installation that occupies the entire pavilion, which is huge and forms a winding path in which the body can move around, getting inside. It will include a couple of videos related to my work with the body and materials. I like to think about the relationship between the two. The material also has a conscience: it knows what its breaking point is, what its limit is. They are scaffoldings with plywood and different types of wood. I am working with wood as a material in its different states and in the different moments of the wood production process. Whether in its most industrial, industrialized moment, and also as waste or burned. As a log, green or dry. Its different processes and stages as a material, a good and organic material. This is a bit what I propose with this work, but together with other materials and a more extensive development, because it is a very large installation".
