Galerie Georg Nothelfer is pleased to present the Favre class of the UDK Berlin with their first group exhibition plot twist. 

Color becomes surface, forms an image and becomes tangible and ends in multi-perspective narrative moments. In the exhibition, 23 artists from the Favre class provide insights into their painting, with different narratives coming together and demonstrating the mutability of painting. The medium reveals itself in all its complexity, creating contrasts that range from whispering to roaring tension. The artists form and curate their own as well as borrowed plots, creating a mixture of familiar motifs that ultimately do not shy away from being linked anew in enigmatic or unpredictable conclusions. In this exhibition, Klasse Favre offers viewers a pluralistic perspective on the medium of painting, of course without ignoring traditional themes of the medium itself.
