In Sol Calero’s upcoming solo exhibition at ChertLüdde, the artist will transform the gallery into a multipurpose gathering space. Surrounded by a new series of paintings, a small pavilion will be constructed in the center of the gallery. Drawing inspiration from her 2024 outdoor installation Pabellón criollo (Creole Pavilion) at the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, this indoor pavilion will function as a versatile space, hosting different happenings throughout the exhibition. For the opening, it will serve as the stage for a collaborative food performance with artist Caique Tizzi, while during the show, it will be reimagined as a kiosk for the presentation and book launch of Calero’s first monograph, Cuadernos Pica Pica.
