Sonia Góral and Damian Kula's exhibition is a violent gesture, and the title itself is meant to sound both tenderness and accusation. Like feeding and appropriation. Like everyday life suddenly revealing its hidden depths. "I Already Spread You on My Bread" is an exhibition about feeding with narrative, about the inheritance of gestures, about the violence hidden in everyday life. It is an expressive reckoning with the figure of the father—with his burden, absence, excess, and his shadow. Góral and Kula's works pulsate with energy: between aggression and irony, between screaming and laughter, between intimacy and a demonstration of power. What seemed stable crumbles. What was banal turns out to be a tragedy. Because memory is not an archive. It is a battlefield. Not everything was as we were told. Owls are not what they seem…
