Erik Steinbrecher presents new works that continue his thoughts on drawing and that unfold in various media such as metal, neon and glass. With their luminosity, his colourful neon pieces are a striking focus of the exhibition. His monochrome, two-part works made of aluminium have a delicate, almost painterly effect due to their colour and surface texture.

Steinbrecher's drawing studies and models are combined here with his sculptural work and, at the same time, refer back to his visual repertoire of the early 1990s, of which selected works are also shown.

In addition to sculptures, neon objects and drawings, Erik Steinbrecher's artistic work also includes a continuous "book-making". The variety of his Artists' Books is impressive in their form, imagery and design. They can all be viewed and bought in the exhibition...
