White Cube is pleased to present the first solo exhibition in Paris by American artist Sylvia Snowden. Over six decades, the artist has developed an abstract painting practice that evocatively addresses the layered complexity of the human experience. Distorting the figurative form through thick, impasto brushstrokes, Snowden’s psychologically charged work translates colour, texture and form into a spectrum of embodied affect.
