Skoufa gallery happily presents Tania Dimitrakopoulou's new solo exhibition with the title 'Θeros'. The exhibition opens on Tuesday 9th June at 19:30 and it will run until the 30th June 2026. Tania Dimitrakopoulou's paintings draw inspiration from the Greek summer: the sea, the luminous beaches and the carefree moments that leave a mark on the memory like personal summer impressions. Through landscapes immersed in light and atmospheric compositions, the artist renders peace and freedom with images that balance experiences and nostalgic memories. Iris Kritikou mentions on the catalogue that accompanies the exhibition: "Tania Dimitrakopoulou's new series of paintings, spells and gives meaning to the Greek summer as a timeless and lustrous condition. The beaches, depictions and empathic condensations of a lyric summer geography, articulated in a small and a generous larger scale, catch the eye, seem delightfully familiar, recall the memory of that place, without the need for any unnecessary narrative devices and literal landmarks".
