Dylan Hurwitz’ work explores themes of community and connection, highlighting the rituals, landscapes, and interactions that strengthen these bonds. His paintings, created from observation and memory, blur the lines between landscape, figure, and abstraction. Inspired by time spent in the wilderness, his plein air works evoke the essence of gathering spaces where remoteness becomes integral to their purpose.
