The "Exhibition of Exhibitions" on the walls of the southeast staircase expands and continues the historical documentation in the Archiv Galerie. Conceived as a walk-in chronicle, this exhibition display offers visitors a comprehensive overview of the exhibitions organised by Haus der Kunst since the 1990s. It invites you to experience the transformation of Haus der Kunst as a key global centre for contemporary art. The Stiftung Haus der Kunst Munchen was established in 1992, and to this day, Haus der Kunst has organised more than 300 exhibitions, including numerous legendary projects with artists that shaped an ongoing process of change: new lines in art history, inventive curatorial approaches and ambitious display concepts, all reflecting the artistic and societal debates of their time.
