Nabatele is a Collateral Event of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, organized by the Museum of Jewish Montreal. The project consists of a large-scale open-air installation by Ukrainian-born artist Anna Kamyshan: a floating shtetl synagogue suspended on a massive rock above the Venetian Lagoon, in front of San Giorgio Maggiore. The exhibition is curated by Maria Veits and Yevgeniy Fiks and supported by Ukrainian-born businessman Leonard Blavatnik. Further information is available at www.nabatele.world.
